Context
Secrid produces the world-renowned Cardprotectors and wallets. Every aluminium profile (anodised or powder-coated) is marked with the Secrid logo, a unique serial number and regular brand engravings for partner brands like Victorinox, Freitag and Truckeasy NL. 100% traceability at profile level is a hard requirement.
Challenge
At millions of units produced each year, manual marking had become a bottleneck. Secrid needed an industrial solution that combines maximum speed with pin-sharp, flawless positioning. No off-the-shelf machine on the market could deliver this specific combination of automation and precision.
Solution
Lion Lasers developed and built a fully automated laser engraving machine (Automarker), custom-designed for Secrid. Based on our proven Lion Move Fiber, precisely matched to their profile dimensions and integrated into the existing production flow. Lion Lasers has built and delivered five automarkers to Secrid, engraving millions of cardprotectors.
